This 1966 Chevy Chevelle was recently treated to a full frame off professional restoration, and it is absolutely beautiful with only a couple hundred miles since completion. The car has always been a rust-free solid Texas car and the frame and metal is outstanding! The car is original 136 vin code Chevelle equipped with a 327 4v and a power glide automatic transmission. When ordered in 1966, many desirable options were selected including factory Frigidaire air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, mag wheel covers, deluxe interior, center console, etc. The underneath of the car is at beautiful as the gorgeous Marina Blue paint on top. During restoration, the decision was made to dress the car as a Super Sport. A SS hood, badges, and knee knocker tack were added to make the car look exactly like a true 138 VIN SS! This car has been recently serviced by GTS Classic Motors with a fresh oil change and filter, full transmission service, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, set timing, alignment, etc., as we like our cars to go down the road perfectly. The car is exceptional and truly drives as good as it looks!
The factory original Marina Blue Paint is absolutely beautiful! By far one of the most popular colors in 1966, the Marina Blue sparkles in the sun and has great depth. On a scale of one to ten, we rate this paint a solid nine to ten because it was so recent and is just gorgeous!

With an original Texas body and frame, this Chevelle truly has a "rock solid" body and frame. We find no indication of any metal work ever, and, furthermore, the frame and body lines are simply beautiful! You would be hard pressed to find another Chevelle in this condition!
The entire Powertrain and Driveline of this beautiful 1966 Chevelle has been completely restored and rebuilt. The original 327 Engine has been fully rebuilt as well as the factory Power glide transmission. The driveshaft, U joints, rear differential, and bearings are all brand new. This car goes down the road with absolute confidence and is truly a pleasure to drive!
The interior on the Chevelle is exceptional. The black vinyl upholstery is beautiful with no visible wear or tear as well as beautiful carpets and dash panel. The factory equipped center console also presents very nicely. In fact, we cannot find any flaws in the interior of this beautiful car! We did add a very nice CD player and upgraded the stock speakers with better units in their original installed areas. There are no visible modifications to the dash or speakers, and the original stereo is still in place. We just like to cruise with some vintage music and this car is the one to do it in! These components can be easily removed if desired leaving no evidence of their installation.
If you are looking for an iconic 1966 Chevelle, then look no further as this car is fully "frame off" restored and, furthermore, has been perfected to drive as good as it looks with recent service and maintenance. The car is truly breathtaking and well optioned. The recent frame off restoration was "nut and bolt" including factory paint daubs and chalk markings, and then GTS Classic Motors handled the finishing touches mechanically to ensure a presentation that is sure to win shows, but also drive down the road with no problems. Most classic cars from the 60's look nice but perform terribly due to hasty restorations and dealers looking to "flip quick".
